Numarine’s new 78HT Evolution will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Numarine will debut the 78HT Evolution to the world at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and the Turkish builder’s 60 Flybridge will make its European debut at the Sept. 6-11 show.
The new 78HT Evolution is a “facelift” evolution of the successful 78 Hardtop and 78 Flybridge models, the company said.
The full-beam owner’s cabin features wardrobe space, a walk-in shower, a separate head and twin basins. The yacht has three en-suite cabins.
The 78-foot yacht hides what the company is calling its new “silent package,” which uses a system of lithium-ion batteries, along with a smart energy-management system and a multi-stage air-conditioning system.
In simple terms, this allows the owner to sit at anchor the entire day and run all of the boat’s electrical systems, including air conditioning, audio/video and appliances, with the generator running only for a short charge at midday.
Separately, the 60 Flybridge is 60 feet long and has a 17-foot beam. It has a 35-knot top speed and cruises at 28 knots, using IPS drive systems to keep fuel consumption and maintenance costs down, the company said.
